7th industrial colloquium: Additive manufacturing – from powder to multifunctional components

On December 12, 2019, the 7th industrial colloquium of the Collaborative Research Center 814 – Additive Manufacturing (CRC 814) will take place under the motto „Additive Manufacturing: From Powder to Multifunctional Components“ in the Marble Hall in Nuremberg.

The focus of this year’s industrial colloquium is the production of multifunctional and multi-material components. The cross-departmental consideration of the process chain, from the powder – through the process – to the component is essential for a basic understanding of additive manufacturing processes.

As part of the Industrial Colloquium 2019, the latest research results of the CRC will be presented with a focus on powder production, process-related characterization, process analysis as well as component production and functionalization. The program is combined with lectures from industry and science. So Prof. Dr.-Ing. Barcikowski, coordinator of the priority program 2122 „Materials for Additive Manufacturing“, as well as well-known representatives from the companies Brose Automotive GmbH and Heraeus Additive Manufacturing GmbH are won for presentations on current trends and innovations in the field of additive manufacturing technologies. The 2019 Industrial Colloquium will once again be characterised by the professional exchange between research and industry.

We look forward to your participation in the 2019 Industrial Colloquium of the CRC 814 and hope to see you soon in Nuremberg.
