Together with the CRC 1120 – Precision Melt Engineering in Aachen and the Centre for Computational Engineering (CCE) in Darmstadt, we are pleased to announce the 2nd International Joint Conference EMPOrIA 2023 in Aachen. The Conference will be held from May 16-17, 2023, in Aachen.
EMPOrIA is the perfect platform for efficient knowledge transfer in the field of materials processing and their applications. The conference is devoted to scientific presentations on the latest research results. EMPOrIA focuses on the latest developments as well as future trends in the field of materials processing. The aim is to bring together international experts from research and industry to match scientific advances and economic needs for mutual benefit.

Authors can choose if they want to have their publication published in a Special Issue (peer-reviewed). For the topic of Additive Manufacturing, the Special Issue will be published in the Progress in Powder-Based Additive Manufacturing.
